What is Freemasonry

A journey of self-discovery, supported by other good men.

Freemasonry traces back to the stonemason guilds of medieval times. Becoming a Freemason invites you to join a brotherhood that has welcomed exceptional men throughout history — leaders like George Washington, Thurgood Marshall, Winston Churchill, and Brad Paisley, to name a few.

Our timeless values are passed down through generations in a series of degrees, all with the goal of helping good men become even better. Those degrees offer a framework that influences every aspect of modern life, rooted in our core values of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Learn more about the Craft

Freemasons work relentlessly to leave the world better than they found it. Not Just a Man. A Mason.

Being a Freemason means…

  • A solemn commitment to personal development.
  • Making a meaningful impact within your community.
  • Honoring tradition with a future-focused mindset.
  • Believing in something greater than yourself.

Our Core Values

Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth

Three principles that have guided Masons for three centuries — and still hold up remarkably well.

I

Brotherly Love

We regard the whole human species as one family. Freemasonry unites men of every country, sect, and opinion, and creates true friendship among those who might otherwise have remained at a distance.

II

Relief

To soothe the unhappy, sympathize with their misfortunes, and restore peace to troubled minds. Charity is not an afterthought for Masons — it is the practical expression of everything else we profess.

III

Truth

Truth is a divine attribute and the foundation of every virtue. To be good men and true is the first lesson we are taught, and the one we spend a lifetime learning to live up to.

Make A Difference. Find Your Truth.

The path is simpler than you think.

Freemasons don't recruit — we wait to be asked. That single tradition is why so many good men never find their way to us. So consider this your invitation: ask.

Reach out

Send us a message, or simply come to a fellowship dinner before a stated meeting. No commitment, no sales pitch — just conversation with men who were once in your shoes.

Submit a petition

When you're ready, you'll complete a petition signed by two members. The lodge investigates, meets your family, and then votes.

Receive the degrees

Transformative self-improvement through the three Masonic degrees — Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason — where you'll delve into timeless principles that offer a powerful new perspective on the world around you.
